EasyTips

Text message program

EasyTips, operated by Elysian Spark LLC, sends transactional text messages to the people who receive tips through an organization that uses EasyTips. This page explains what we send, how you opt in, and how to stop.

What we send

  • An invitation to claim your tip page when the organization you work for adds you.
  • Alerts about your own account: a tip you received, a payout on its way, a reminder that your payout details are incomplete.
  • One-time verification codes when you sign in with your phone number.

We do not send marketing or promotional texts, and we never sell or share your number for anyone else's marketing.

How you opt in

When you enroll yourself at a location — the form behind the QR code on your organization's poster — you enter your own phone number and tick a box that starts unchecked:

Text me about my tips and account. Transactional texts only, frequency varies, message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.

Tipping and being paid never depend on that box. Your organization may send you one invitation text to the number it holds for you so you can claim your page; every message carries STOP.

Program terms

  • Program name: EasyTips transactional texts (easytips.io).
  • Message frequency varies with your own tips and account activity.
  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • Reply HELP for help, or email the support address on your receipts.
  • Reply STOP to any message to stop all texts. We record the opt-out and stop immediately.
  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Your number and your privacy

Your number is used to reach you about your own tips and account. It is stored with your member record, and never shared with third parties for marketing. See the privacy policy for what we keep and for how long.
